What is Milk Peel?

Dermaceutic Milk Peel is a medical grade peel that penetrates the outer layers of your skin to treat fine lines, skin imperfections and oily or dry skin. Its active ingredients including glycolic, lactic and salicylic acid penetrate the skin to breathe new life into your face. It is suitable for most skin types, including sensitive skin.

Where can be treated?

Milk Peel can be used in different parts of the body such as face, decollete, and hands. It is very effective treatment  can be used to treat a wide variety of skin concerns such as dark spots, enlarged pores, loss of hydration, premature ageing, uneven skin tone, acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles. 

How is the treatment process? 

 

The treatment consists of cleaning the skin and applying a thin layer of milk acid on the skin. Leave for 1 to 5 minutes. Remove the product with plenty of water and a 50 USP is applied.  There is no downtime, you will be able to go about you day after as normal. The procedure takes around 25 minutes. USP 30-50 is recommended to be applied twice a day.

To get maximum results it is recommended that you have 4 treatments  2 weeks apart. You will see results after the first treatment but will see marked improvements as the treatments progress. 

Who isn’t a candidate for a milk peel?

  • Individuals who are or have been on oral acne medication isotretinoin (Myorisan, Claravis, others) in the past six months

  • Have a personal or family history of Keloid scars

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding

  • Have frequent or severe outbreaks of cold sore
